Having just released her brand new album, "Little Games" - 10 original songs recorded in Nashville, TN at the Legendary Sound Emporium Studios with Andy Sheridan (CharlieHorse Productions, Hunter Hayes, Phil Vassar, Ashley Monroe, Jason Mraz) Kari Lynch is making her way in music city.

For Kari, work and music have always gone hand-in-hand.

“I always knew finding success in the music industry would take time and hard work so I decided early on I wasn’t going to sit back and wait for someone to do it for me,” says Kari. “I knew I had to go out and make it happen and I never expected anything to happen overnight. I think owning that mindset is what has kept me persistent and always working to reach the next level."

Kari, who currently resides in Nashville, TN, is no stranger to the struggle of trying to "make it" in music city.

"I think you can look at the work it takes to break into the Nashville music scene as daunting and discouraging, or you can choose to allow it to make you work harder and get better. I use the "struggle" as a driving force to make me a better artist and songwriter."

She is also no stranger to the spotlight. Kari has played thousands of shows across the U.S and abroad, successfully released original music and videos, played to crowds in the tens of thousands and opened for an impressive list of some of country music’s most recognized artists including, The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, The Charlie Daniels Band, Thomas Rhett and Alabama.

“Seeing my name alongside artists I’ve been listening to since I was a kid and achieving goals keeps me working all the time to keep the momentum going. I've got big dreams and goals. Every goal reached is one step closer to making those big things happen. It’s made me appreciate success that’s built from the ground up."

It’s an appreciation for her dedicated fan base and a commitment to creating good and honest music that also fuels the fire. Her unique voice, combining classic country inflection with a modern pop-rock edge, paired with relatable lyrics about real life and love, resonates with listeners, many who refer to her sound as traditional country with a twist.

"My music will always have a traditional country flair, rock edge and a singer/songwriter vibe because that's what I grew up on. I listen to different genres of music and I pull flavors from all of them when I write. My goal is to create a good song and to not necessarily let what's "in" for the moment make me less fearless with what I want to say or direct where a song is going to go musically."

Lynch has honed in on finding solid ground in today’s music market while not being afraid to step outside the box, an innate skill at remaining authentic while producing catchy hooks and memorable melodies that tie together for a modern and original sound. It's that charisma and clever candor that has turned the heads of not only country music fans, but fans of music in general. Her candid approach to songwriting and undeniable talent for connecting with listeners is reflected in her ability to garner devoted fans of all ages and from all walks of life who continually flock to shows, line up to meet her afterward, take her album home and follow her on her social media networks.

"Music has always been about connecting with people for me and I’m always blown away by the lines of people waiting after a show to get their CDs and posters signed or take pictures. I will stand there all night to meet every single person because it truly is that important to me. Seeing their smiles, hearing their stories and connecting with them through my music is what keeps me going."

Her dedication to her fans and love for performing and songwriting has paid off in a big way.

Since 2009, she's released 3 EP ‘s which saw success on iTune’s “New and Noteworthy” list and received praised reviews and radio time in her home state of Michigan and throughout the Midwest. At a time when many artists are struggling to sell hard copies of CD’s, she is selling out of them.

“I really can't believe the amount of times I’ve had to re-order CD's because I've sold out and have had to put folks on a waiting list. Truly. Each time I say to myself, ‘this is probably the last time I’ll have to order more copies of this album,’ and then people prove me wrong. It’s incredibly encouraging."

Though many new fans may see her as a new artist, Lynch has been writing and performing since age seven. She grew up in Clare, a small town in central Michigan, and learned to love music early on listening to everything from Patsy Cline, to Elvis, to Garth Brooks, to Bonnie Raitt, to Tom Petty, to Johnny Cash and The Charlie Daniels Band.

“I knew I would write and sing songs for a living the first time my grandma played me Patsy Cline’s cassette tape when I was 6-years-old. The first song was, “Crazy” and it was like a fire lit up inside me. I was so captivated by her voice. Soon after that I heard Garth Brooks, “No Fences” for the first time and I’ll never forget that moment. I fell in love with the idea of writing and creating my own songs, so when I was 7-years-old I started writing songs and performing every chance I could.”

Kari also learned early on that what inspired her most was real life, real struggles, love and loss.

“I witnessed and experienced heartbreak early in my life. I think it made me grow up faster than most kids my age so I always had that longing for connecting with the rest of the world. Writing songs became my way of figuring out life and it was my place to say exactly how I was feeling, no holds barred."

Kari Lynch is one of those rare artists that has the ability to step on stage and immediately connect with the audience, making new listeners feel like they’re old friends. People connect with her quickly because she’s real and relatable, yet she possess that exciting and special quality her fans and music community describe as that “it” that sets her apart from other singer/songwriters.

"I always tell people, if you listen to my music, if you come out to see my shows, then you know me because what you hear and what you see is exactly who I am. I want that approachability with people. Being good to people, remaining grateful and giving people a live show and original songs they will never forget will always be at the forefront of what's important to me. I love the relationship that I have with my fans. They’re friends. They’re my family in all of this. I remind them often that none of this is possible without them because it’s true. I know how blessed I am to have fans who relentlessly support me and are always hungry for new music.”

Kari also has a solid understanding of the many facets of the music industry because she’s worked first hand on every aspect.

“I’ve been able to experience first hand the amount of work and sacrifice that goes into building a career in the music industry as an artist and on the business end of things because I've had to handle every aspect from booking to promotions to managing to writing the songs and playing the shows. As crazy as it gets sometimes, I’m thankful because I’ve been able to gain perspective from every angle and it’s taught me what can be accomplished with honest to goodness hard work and to appreciate each opportunity I'm given."

Kari has the determination and talent to separate her from the pack. Her dynamic stage presence, powerful voice, genuine character and sincerity in her writing leaves an impression on all of those who get the chance to hear her. With a continuous and rapidly growing fan base, a loaded tour schedule for 2016 that will take her all over the U.S and see her opening for Diamond Rio, Kelsea Ballerini and Native Run, a brand new music video that continues to steadily climb in views and popularity, her new single, "Sweetheart" out now which has already been picked up for rotation by several radio stations and continues to reach new fans daily, and her new album “Little Games” released on May 20, 2016, Kari Lynch is establishing herself as one of the most promising artists on today's country scene.
